PERMANENT FORMWORK

Glass fiber reinforced concrete permanent formwork is a fast, technically efficient way of creating concrete slabs of the concrete grout on-site. The main advantage is cost efficiency. In course of production there is no need in the construction of temporary supporting structures, therefore, it saves time and effort of the builders. The size and configuration of the permanent formwork depends on the following factors which are to be considered at stage of its design: the development of separate elements of the permanent construction, loads from the permanent construction and construction works, weight of the formwork and the environmental impact. The panels of the permanent formwork made of glass fiber reinforced concrete are to be designed in a way to meet the requirements of any width of span up to 5000 mm and bear the weight of concrete layers in compliance with the requirements of Transport Ministry.

ACOUSTIC SHIELDS

One of the areas of TEK company is the production and assembly of acoustic shields – durable sound absorption barriers made of glass fiber reinforced concrete which are resistant to high dynamic load and mechanical damage. This produce is getting more and more popular in connection with the rapid development of highway and railway infrastructure. The acoustic shields produced by TEK have been tested and certified by Research and Development Establishment “Stroyphisica”, Moscow; Baltic State Technical University “Voenmech” in the name of D.F.Ustinov, Saint-Petersburg. The testing showed excellent acoustic and mechanical characteristics (acoustic insulation index is 36-42 dB). The dimensional specifications of the panels: length – up to 6 m, height – up to 0.5 – 1m, thickness – 3-12 cm.

ARCHITECTURAL DECOR

Apart from exclusive functional properties glass fiber reinforced concrete is famous for its architectural beauty and elasticity. The absence of hard reinforced pattern allows the unlimited possibilities to create various forms and shapes. These properties make glass fiber reinforced concrete an ideal material for the production of architectural décor elements creating unique images of buildings and facilities. TEK company provides a wide range of architectural elements made of glass fiber reinforced concrete such as balustrades, facade cornices, window and door cases, rotundas, rustications, pillars, etc.

Ideal selection of colors and textures makes it possible to match architectural elements made of glass fiber reinforced concrete with natural materials. Due to fine grained pattern glass fiber reinforced concrete enables you to create items with the most delicate features. No other material can compete with glass fiber reinforced concrete in its ability to convey texture and relief. That is why items made of glass fiber reinforced concrete may be particularly interesting for the architects creating decorative architectural elements.

FACING PANELS

Glass fiber reinforced concrete is widely used in production of high quality facing panels. Glass fiber reinforced concrete facing panels present various textures, relief, colors, expressiveness and elasticity giving an architect a tool to implement all his daring projects.

Glass fiber reinforced concrete facing panels can be used for various architectural purposes:

  • in construction of nonstandard items according to custom design for not typical buildings and facilities or special projects;
  • in construction of modular units for serial construction;
  • as facing material (panels can be installed directly above the old facade).

Glass fiber reinforced concrete facing panels are thin (15-20 mm) that reduces the weight of the structure and load on foundation, making assembly works easier. At the same time all the advantages of glass fiber reinforced concrete remain: freeze resistance of 500 cycles, no porosity, high resistance to damage and negative environment impact of the modern cities.
